What is it that makes the San Francisco Bay Area such a special place to live?
Conde Nast Traveller magazine says, “San Francisco is arguably the most cosmopolitan and bohemian city in America. It is also one of the most beautiful.” Locals tend to refer to San Francisco as "The City", as if it were the only one that exists. Different than any other place on earth, San Francisco has much to offer visitors and locals alike. An agreeable climate and the natural beauty of the hills and water make it the ideal place to put down roots. Baseball great Joe DiMaggio called it “the friendliest city in the world.”
If you are thinking about living in San Francisco to San Jose you have many options. From old Victorians to modern high-rise condominiums, The Bay Area has something for every taste. But, the search doesn’t stop there: San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods. The City offers neighborhoods, large and small that have a pulse all their own. From the urban Mission and Marina to the suburban Richmond and Parkside to the small town feel of Laurel Village and Bernal Heights, San Francisco has a neighborhood that anyone would love to call home. But, when you find the right home in the right neighborhood, you join the 800,000 lucky people who call San Francisco home.
